Located in the heart of downtown Ottawa, Canada, Raven Park is home to a variety of local businesses and amenities, including a golf course, a hockey arena, a soccer field, a sports club, and a spa and fitness centre. Carleton University Ravens football team

Despite a 7-1 loss to the Ottawa Gee-Gees in the semi-finals, the Carleton Ravens were one of the two Ontario-Quebec Conference (O-QIFC) teams to qualify for the playoffs. They were also the first team to win a playoff game.

The Ravens started the season with a balanced attack. The team was led by veteran starting quarterback Sean O’Neil and veteran defensive lineman Harry Van Hofwegan. They were bolstered by a new quarterback-wide receiver combination of Mark Brown and Cam Collins.

After a rocky start, the Ravens were able to win five of their last six games to secure a playoff spot in the OUAA’s eastern division. They played against the University of Toronto Varsity Blues, the Guelph Gryphons, the Calgary Dinosaurs, and the McMaster Marauders. The Ravens won three of their five games by a total of five points.

The Ravens finished with a 4-4 record and were averaging a total of 23 points per game. They were ranked 10th in the nation.

Women’s rugby team

Thousands of fans attended a women’s rugby match at Raven Park on Sunday. The England Black Ferns beat the Ravens 54-4. The Ravens have played a few camps. They are set to go to Serbia in September for test matches.

England started with a lineout move from five metres out. Zoe Aldcroft was given the ball, and then Abbie Ward passed to Zoe Aldcroft. The maul was set up around Marlie Packer. Packer made a grounding and crossed for England.

Papua New Guinea also made a few mistakes in attack. They had 26 second-half points. Dani Franada kicked two conversions. The team’s first try came from a handling error by Natalie Tam. The second try was scored by Megan Pakulis. The team also had a try from Lydia Thompson.

The Ravens have not won a match in the Women’s Rugby League World Cup. They have lost to Papua New Guinea (34-12) and England (54-4). They cannot advance to the semifinals.

Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre

Located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre is a specialized academic psychiatric hospital that combines research, education, and advocacy. The facility offers specialized mental health services and treatment for veterans, Canadian Forces, and the general population.

In addition to the hospital, the institution also includes four satellite offices. The Royal also operates the Operational Stress Injury Clinic, which provides care for active military members and civilian employees. Its Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) clinic uses a walk-in model to offer care to patients who need help with substance use. Before the RAAM program, patients were treated through a process known as COVID, which delayed treatment and created barriers to access. In addition to the RAAM program, The Royal has also launched a virtual addiction clinic that uses a digital front door to replicate an in-person visit.
